On Friday and Saturday, the Wilhelmstraßenfest in Wiesbaden will be covered in gold. The Electro Swing Collective takes the stage and brings back the time of prohibition for the biggest retro-tastic spectacle in town. We open our secret cabinet of curiosities for a glamorous world of gangsters, rapscallions, good-for-nothings, movie starlets and sex symbols. Pandora’s box opens, sounds of a long-forgotten time of black and white erupt and submerge in technicolor. Live instruments roar on stage while wild dancers move ecstatically to the jive. Mixing vintage and modern tunes, we create an exciting electro swing show. Unique, like you have never experienced before.
Forming as the Electro Swing Collective, Hesses greatest electro swing dj Timcat consolidates with Merle to enact the most embellished extravaganza when it comes to hosting a party. To the sound of live violin performances, you’re gonna move your getaway sticks like there’s no tomorrow. As if that weren’t enough, Annalena Storch and Jessica Thiedecke will provide your entertainment throughout with their show dance skills.

The Electro Swing Collective
Timcat fusions melodies and sounds of the swing-era with todays modern beats. Just the best that Electro Swing has to offer, with a mix of saxophone-based EDM for the perfect flair. Only the finest music gets served on the turntables to satisfy your hunger for good music. Doesn’t matter if you dance Lindy Hop, Charleston or Shenanigans. Just indulge yourself. He mixes up to three tracks at the same time live with no prepared sets. Everything’s in the moment to feel the pulsating need of the crowd, until the beat drops and everyone loses their minds. 🎧🐈⬛
Merle from the Swing Bohème Orchestra will support us with live violin performances. For years they were a member of the chamber philharmonic orchestra Rhein-Neckar, exceeding in their joy for mastering the instrument. Now they live up to electronic music, having it tête-à-tête with Gypsy Jazz and Electro Swing. 🎻🦜
Annalena Storch is the flapper girl of the show, dancing in costume on stage and accompanying the dj, violin and saxophone on our grande journey to the Golden Twenties. She graduated as a state-certified musical performer and dance teacher, and also trained in jazz music, singing and acting. 🩰🦢
